The main bedroom is en-suite with a double bed. The second bedroom has a double bed, while the third bedroom has two single beds, and the fourth bedroom has three single beds. There is, additionally, the option of an outside bedroom.

The house is protected with an installed alarm system and guests have the use of the double garage. The dining room provides the opportunity to have a family meal around its eight-seater table, while the living areas give you the chance to reveal your skills on the pool table.

Jeffreys Bay offers many activities and sites. Have a look in the Billabong Factory Shop, or explore the shell and surf museum. Many sandboarding and surf schools are available to give you that push to try something new. Jeffreys Bay is well known for its surfing spots. If you would like to make a difference, there are ample projects such as the Wildlife Volunteer Project and many more.

The house is located in the Wavecrest suburb close to a shopping centre and a short distance away from the rest of Jeffreys Bay. This gives you access to the nightlife and restaurants.

The house has enough space for a large family and comes fully furnished with everything one may need. On offer are three bedrooms; one with queen-size bed, one with twin singles and one with two three-quarter beds respectively. There is plenty to do in Jeffrey’s Bay, with the main attractions being surfing and body boarding. Others may also find the many hiking trails, perfect for birdwatching. Why not take a trip to the Cape St Francis Nature Reserve, or tee off at the St Francis Links Golf Course, just 20 km from Jeffrey’s Bay.

Your hosts are Zdenek and Hilde Kucera. Zdenek is an accredited tourist guide and keen angler, who can point out the best angling spots. He also knows the weather, tides, phases of the moon and where to find the best bait. Hilde likes shell collecting, is a student of local flora, and makes quilts from South African fabrics. We both enjoy playing bridge at the local club. Between us we speak English, Czech, Afrikaans, and a smattering of Russian, German and Dutch.

The View is walking distance (approx 5 minutes) from the main beach, which has blue-flag status. True to its name, The View offers a magnificent sea view, which you can enjoy whilst relaxing in bed or enjoying a barbeque on the balcony. The unit kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and all major appliances. A color television with full DSTV bouquet and DVD player is also available. A B1 handgun safe in the unit allows for the safe keeping of any valuables or hand guns. The safe beaches are perfect for bathing and all water sports, making it a popular weekend getaway and holiday destination. There are a number of small nature reserves in the area, such as the Kabeljous Estuary and Nature Reserve, which is a walk-about reserve with a safe beach for swimming and excellent fishing opportunities as well as bird watching a small animals.

The Starfish Surf House has one of the best views available and is situated only 150 meters from the shoreline. The huge deck gives you the perfect panoramic view of all of Jeffreys Bays’ famous waves, to your right Super Tubes, directly in front Tubes and on the left Surfers Point and on the far left the mystic Albatross.
